I am a UX/UI and Product Developer based in Sydney originating from Tokyo. I have a unique background having grown up as a third culture kid equipping me to quickly think from different perspectives in user research and usability testing. I am passionate about sustainable fashion and tech. My main concept in life is to never stop learning.

From Japan & the US… to Down Under!
Hi! I’m Morgan — a Japanese & American Tech Consultant working at Telstra, focusing on UX/UI and front-end design 💻✨I graduated with a Bachelor of Design Computing from the University of Sydney, where I focused on UX/UI research, front-end development, and product/service design.
My love for design started early, thanks to my multicultural upbringing. Growing up in Japan and attending international schools meant being surrounded by different cultures, religions, and fashion. It really shaped how I understand people and how I solve problems today with empathy and understanding.
I’ve gained experience through internships and uni societies. I’ve worked across digital marketing, customer service, early childhood education, UX/UI, accounting, and sales, giving me a pretty solid toolkit for understanding all kinds of users.— and along the way I picked up skills and love for attention to detail 🤓
When I’m not designing or learning something new, you’ll probably find me playing field hockey, at the gym (yes, I’m that person 🏋️♀️), or cafe-hopping around Sydney in search of the best coffee or matcha ☕🍵 If you’ve got recommendations, I’m all ears.
